City of London Migraine Clinic
Appeal 2002

Please help to keep open our specialist clinic which is a world-renowned centre of excellence and a respected research centre. It is vital that this unique service is retained in London.

If you can help, please contact the City of London Migraine Clinic, 22, Charterhouse Square, London, EC1M 6DX. Telephone 020 7251 3322We would be most grateful for a donation from you, or your family, friends or other sources. Please make your cheque payable to "The City of London Migraine Clinic".If you would like us to reclaim tax on your donation and any future donations, please confirm that you are a UK taxpayer when you send your donation. (This will enable us to recover 28p on every £1 received.) Also if you have any ideas about how we can raise more funds, please write to us. The Clinic is financed by support from patients, independent donations, annual grants from Migraine Action Association and income from research studies. This has been sufficient to maintain the service until recently but, unfortunately, large corporate donations have declined over the past two years and the Clinic faces a substantial increase in rent and maintenance costs.Founded as an independent medical charity in 1980, receiving no NHS funding we provide a free service for migraine sufferers throughout the UK who need specialist help in managing this debilitating condition. The Clinic treats around 2000 patients every year.As no charge is made to the individual, their GP or any health authority, it provides an invaluable service to those sufferers who are refused NHS referral and are unable to afford private care.
